“Once the storm is over you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” - Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami

Because the “Absolute Funniest post” blog is run by a complete asshole who for some reason thinks this is funny, I want to re-post this without all of the notes from the other assholes on the internet who made fun of her.
Just look at this precious baby, would you make fun of her, to her face, in real life? Jesus I’d hope not. Special Olympics is around so other children and adults with disabilities can get together and just have fun without the fear of being teased being made fun of. People fucking make me sick when they think this picture is funny.
“Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
-Sincerely, the sister of a precious girl with Down syndrome, and a Special Olympic coach.
